Came for the horny bug tf and sex, stayed for the card game

So... I can to estimation this game, despite blocking twitter in Russia. Game is pretty))~

Only question what i have. This changes in furry OC is permanently? That so strange question. Just my attitude to this is twofold.

I want to see the continue

Game's really quick to complete and simple to understand. The story is quite common for me, imagining yourself transform into someone else because you feel not in the right place or maybe not in the body you want. It's a strange situation that's hard to explain, so I'll try to rate the game. In my opinion it's 8/10.

-1 for the ending scenes (angles are sometimes strange) but it's still fine

-1 for it's simplicity, but it's made for jam so you may not count this one

Overall, the game's good and I want to play something like that or the sequel (if it'll ever come out).

Just played through and beat the game twice. Loved it. I did find a bug (heh) though:
if (after losing more than once) you click a card while the new game is being dealt, the cards are dealt face down and are not clickable. fleeing the room with face down cards causes no cards to be spawned.
I would be happy to make a video showing this if needed. Keep making great games!

Yeah, I watched my BF find that bug. It's a very quick fix. However, I don't know if it's critical enough to fix right away since only a handful of people have find it so far. But, it will get fixed once voting ends.

can you make a video of beating the game? I can't seem to win.

This is so good. Very nice. I would love to see more ideas like this. And also it would be cool to see real versions of the cards from this game either through them actually being made (I kinda doubt that would happen) or a release of the art of the cards so people can make it themselves, maybe through patreon or something.

I'm not sure what to think of the ending. It made me sad, where the protagonist feels so out of place that they literally leave the world. Why can't Izorath stay? Why do we have to be the ones to leave?...and why do I relate to this?

An amazingly written game. Thank you for making this.

This game's atmosphere is very charming. The music and the dialogue are all pleasant, and the visuals are great. I loved all of it!

Amazing work again. after few try, I manage to see the ending!

Really love your works <3

It took a while to understand the game's rules, but I had a lot of fun, and the ending was very nice.

Amazing and unique game. Insects are so underappreciated.

Also, I loved the card game. I'll usually quit puzzles that I keep losing to, but I was surprised to find that I enjoyed retrying. It took me about five tries before I subconsciously understood how each card should be played and quickly won. It's a good thing that it's a digital card game because I'd probably spend more time reshuffling than playing if I tried it IRL.

(+4)

Oh, I would have also drawn out the game if I was playing IRL. Gotta savor those little moments ;p

Also, I wanted to avoid the frustration of losing as much as possible. This is why I added Izorath's comments about "being in no rush" and that "it is nice to have someone to play cards with". I was really hoping it would drive most players to push through a couple of bad shuffles or the initial confusion of playing Donsol. I'm very happy I went with the "playing with an old friend" approach to the in-world card game.

I have a suggestion, if you ever plan to make changes to the game:

It would be nice if players had the option to Hide (or cover up) the picture in the top right of the screen. While it’s fun to look at, a lot of my frustration came from watching the transformation progress suddenly reset. I would have liked the option to hide the frame while playing. And a large button would be nice for people like me who sometimes accidentally click things and then can’t figure out how to undo what I did.

Although, I might be the only one who feels this way. It’s possible everybody else uses the frame as incentive to keep trying and doesn’t share my opinion.

Undo and action previewing are definitely two things I want to add. My BF also pitched the idea of adding an "arcade mode"/"endless mode" where you can just play the card game. I have a short list of "quality of life" changes. And, the stuff you point out is definitely there.

Also, I definitely understand that frustration. Tho, I personally found watching the un-TF to be as equally interesting. I kinda want to tweak it so it's more gradual at lower TF stages.

Yes, that would be amazing if the TF stages began with tiny (but obvious) changes and then increased exponentially.

In any case, it’s only been a day since I played it but now I want to play it again.

loved this now post the ritual instruction :)

(jk, obviously.... unless?)

I love the game. Introduced me to a new card game.

when you skip the remaining cards and move on to the next room, are they lost? or are they reshuffled into the deck?

like in other words, if you don't need a lust or chastity buff at the moment, can you leave those cards behind, to be drawn later? or if you can't face a club or spade right now, can you move on, knowing that they'll come back eventually?

edit - yes, skipped / fled cards are indeed reshuffled, and that's a big component of the strategy. Love it!

Have you ever played a mobile game called Deck 'Em? Very similar concept.

(+2)

I think I came across references to that game in my research into Donsol. There is a lot of fun-looking dungeon-crawling card games floating about.

Could you make it playable on android?

Yeah, I want to but I didn't have time to check how the UI looks on a smaller screen. It technically works on a mobile web browser. But, the font rendering is a bit janky.

(+2)

This is really good, though I wish I had more control over the transformation choices. There's also a lot of typos, but that's to be expected in a high-speed production format like a one-week challenge.

(+3)

Yeah, I wanted player choice over what changed. But, it was scrapped due to time.

Tho, I started work on this early into February but ended up getting stuck on what the intro to the game should be. The card game was finished, the TF's drawn, but I had no way to tie it together. Then, I had a stroke of inspiration and blitzed out all the art and writing over the course of the weekend. The game almost didn't happen.

Also, I'm definitely going to fix my typos now that I had some sleep.

Totally fair! I look forward to V2

What a fun little game

Currently non-interactive. Can't even click 'play'. You may have mistyped something.

Works fine on my end. Try testing it in different browsers. I'm using Google Chrome.

I've reduces the WebGL version from WebGL 2 to WebGL 1. Additionally, added downloadable builds to the game.

DL works poi-fec-ly. Getting used to the unusual card game took a bit, but still was interesting. The 'ending' was neat too. Any chance of alternate forms/mutations in possible later updates/changes? As is, it's a fun little time waster. TY Quan.
